Pain shoots up your leg from your ankle. You must have seriously sprained your ankle in that fall. For a second, you forget where you are. It is dark and all you can focus on is your ankle as it pulses, sending messages of agony to your brain. Trying to forget about the pain, you frantically rummage around for your flashlight, but the darkness makes finding such a valuable tool nearly impossible. After about two minutes of frenzied searching, you feel the familiar grip of your only source of light. You switch it on, the light reflecting off the walls of the trench, emitting a brilliant orange glow.

You stumble to your feet, the initial pain in your ankle beginning to subside. Looking around, you notice a door-type structure embedded in the trench wall. Looking to either side, all you can see is the glow from your flashlight fading away into the darkness.

Knock on the door, hoping for some sort of response

Barge through the door, as there is no way that anything can exist here to answer a knock
